As part of our planning and collaboration we make detailed notes as to the materials needed to produce the desired result. Our selections are based on your needs, being mindful of your budget.

m2 haus recently embarked on an exciting new home build at the top of a scenic avocado farm. Led by Mathias Blume, our team is focused on delivering a performance-oriented residence that prioritises energy-efficiency and healthy sustainable living. The project combines advanced German building techniques with high-quality Australian materials, ensuring both sustainability and resilience, especially important in this fire-restricted area. The design features a spacious living area, two one-bedroom units, a master bedroom with en suite, and a thoughtfully designed connection to the existing building while overcoming the unique challenges of the site’s terrain.

All our builds use high-performance materials, specialised windows and building wraps that are non-toxic and last. We understand the importance of budget and time, and thoroughly plan all projects to ensure they're cost-efficient and delivered on time.
The m2 passive haus team is led by Master Builder and Director Mathias Blume, who is also a qualified Passive House Tradesperson — and passionate about good design aligned to high performance and comfort. Mathias is a builder and carpenter with over 18 years of experience, gained both here in Australia and in his native Germany. He is passionate about building healthy homes that perform to their full capacity, beyond simply providing shelter, and is accredited as an HIA GreenSmart builder.
